Employee Code of Conduct

We require employees to behave in a way necessary for safe, efficient business operations and for the welfare and safety of all employees. Employees are expected to act in a safe, professional, responsible, and courteous manner at all times.

Conduct that is unsafe, illegal, dishonest, interferes with operations, discredits or reflects unfavorably on our company, or is offensive or dangerous to customers and co-workers will not be tolerated.

Inappropriate and disrespectful conduct is cause for disciplinary action, up to and including termination. The benchmark for what constitutes unacceptable behavior, and the appropriate level of disciplinary action necessary, will be determined and administered consistently by company management.

Since it is impossible to describe all situations that may constitute unacceptable behavior or actions, the prohibitions included in this policy are not intended to be all inclusive and only include some of the more clear-cut examples:

1) Discourteous behavior;
2) Tardiness and/or failure to report to work;
3) Fighting with, or assaulting others;
4) Threats, harassment, or intimidation;
5) Theft, defacement, or misuse of Company property or the property of a customer or co-worker;
6) Profanity or abusive language;
7) Horseplay or inappropriate humor;
8) Violation of safety policies and/or procedures;
9) Inappropriate attire for the work being performed;
10) Failure to maintain proper care of company vehicle, tools, or other property;
11) Falsifying or altering any company records or reports;
12) Insubordination and/or refusal to follow managements’ directive; and
13) Sleeping on the job.
